A cursor in 1st person would be a real problem to implement, and it's why we have the control scheme we have now. But I agree: it is absolutely necessary. What I had originally suggested for 1st person was to have a key you press to toggle the mouse between look and cursor, but some people didn't like that either. And now I'm remember why I decided not to add special support for the 1P viewpoint. It's a total pain and requires adding a special case to all our input/control code. Perhaps it would be enough that when the HUD has focus (that is, a window is active) the mouse appear automatically. I dunno. This is complicated. Darryl
