Quite right about the green gunk, I think they used different grades of whale blubber ;) What does the 15 minutes of training involve? I have several Agfa Karats and the ones that pose a problem, I spray the helicoid with Electronic Contact and Head Cleaner. Loosens up the green-gunk although on some of the Karats, the process has to be repeated periodically.
