I did some testing of this film fairly recently and what I found was that it 
designed and marketed for use with Microphen developer.

If you expose at 3200 and then develop in Microphen Stock for 9mins @ 20degC, 
then you will get 3200 speed from it. It will give 4 stops below and 4 stops 
above metered. So a true 3200 speed film when used with Microphen as per 
Ilfords instructions. It's quite grainy at that speed.

Once you start using other developers, the speed drops very quickly. The next 
best for speed with much improved grain is DDX 1+4 15mins @ 20degC. This will 
give you 4 stops below metered and 5 above when exposed using 1600. Grain is 
much better than with Microphen.

Others developers I tried only gave around 800 speed. I think you would get 
better results pushing delta 400 to 800 than trying to use delta 3200 at 800 
but each to his own...
