Thanks guys for all the answers. I mentioned Pyrocat and PMK mostly to show that I do keep some variety around here, but since I didn't shoot this film, I have no idea if those 2 would be appropriate for the images they contain. I did want to get an opinion though as to what in others' experiences were and what has worked for them and it's interesting Pyrocat and PMK were both recommendations. Personally I was hoping for T-max or D-76 since they're so easy to work with and both are always ready to go here. The recommended developers (by Ilford) are DDX and Microphen, neither of which I carry normally so other options were needed. As I understand it, Microdol is similar w/Micophen, but no one nowadays wants the speed loss for the more commonly used films that come through here, despite the grain advantages so I don't keep it around unless it's asked for. Micophen dev. time is 9 mins for 3200 while Microdol is 18 so I guess they may be similar (if I remember correctly!) but not interchangeable. > I have some Delta 3200 shot at 3200 to process. > My developer choices on hand are D-76, HC-110. Xtol would also work well as would Ilford Microphen (if its still made). All are phenidone based developers which will produce full speed and work well for pushing. Xtol will probably produce slightly finer grain than the others but not by much. Keep in mind that this is about an ISO-1000 film which is normally used with some pushing. -- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there. ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
