Thus, at Book 13, this version of > Lone Wolf can have an effective CS of 55 and an EP of 37. > heres the actual text from book 13: "If you have successfully completed ... (Books 1-12), you can carry your current scores of COMBAT SKILL and ENDURANCE points over to Book 13. These scores may include Lore-circle bonuses." So you have the option of re-rolling your stats OR keeping you original ones + lore-circle bonuses. "You may also benefit from the Disciplines that you've mastered (e.g. Weaponmastery, Curing, and Psi-surge bonuses) ... You may also carry over any Weapons and Backpack Items you had in your possession ... However, only the following Special Items may be carried over" While this part is open to interpretation, I believe it means you can only do B if youve already done A (otherwise you would say "also, you may" rather than "you may also"). Following my interpretation, you would have a choice of keeping all your stats (including lore-circle bonuses), disciplines (and inherent bonuses), weapons, backpack items and special items OR re-rolling new stats (and dropping all bonuses/disciplines/weapons/items). obviously you would only do this if you character with all their bonuses was much weaker than a new character. The intent (I presume) is to level out the playing field between a veteran player and a new player. Using your example your character would be CS 30, EP 35 no items/bonuses etc (or they could keep their old stats/bonuses/items and have an effective CS of 45). Basically, unless youre missing the sommerswerd or havent read a significant number of magna-kai books youre going to be keeping your stats and still being better off ... why on earth would you want to want to re-roll stats and keep all your old bonuses? or even add 10 CS and keep all your old bonuses? seems like cheating to me. ~~~~~~ Manage your subscription at //www.freelists.org/list/projectaon
