I use paint shop pro v 7 and 9 and in those there is an option under Image to resize and I would choose 85% in the percentage of original and see how that looks and if you want more just go with the same option again and to get the clearest pic also choose Bicubic Resample in the Resize Type...........that is if you have that same option.
