You know... funny thing... cause mine does something similar... I have the Belkin 4-port USB hub, and when I connect too many of the larger items, they don't play nice together... some work, some don't, and the ones that don't work occasionally DO work.. basically, it seems like they're fighting for power, but they shouldn't be, cause the hub has its own power supply... and individually, like you, they work fine. So, maybe we have the same problem, but for now I haven't been able to fix it. Let me know if you get successful in figuring it out. ..::[ Sir Troth ]::.. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ICQ: 1717439 AIM: SirTrothX MSN: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxx YAHOO: SirTroth :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ----- Original Message ----- From: Master NetLord To: PCTechTalk - Freelists ; WinTips-Tricks ; WinXPHelp Sent: Sunday, July 14, 2002 10:44 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Method to test hub? Any of your hardware guru's know a way to test a USB hub to make sure it's working? After loading WinXP Pro, the hub doesn't work. It has a red light on.....not the green light. If I disconnect it and connect individual pieces of equipment, they work just fine. I also deleted the driver for the generic hug and reloaded it......no help. Any way to check other than what I've done?
