<chuckle> my sister is only 52 - and she is like that!! I always get a response back - couldn't open that one. didn't work for me - and it's always MY fault!! at 80 - that's great that she uses it! My mom uses a web TV - that was a tough sell too. We started with something else - forced on her. A lady was very nice and gave it to me, so it only cost my sister and I the montly fee. got mom hooked on getting e-mail. but she couldn't read it because of the small text. So - we went to the web tv. It's been much better. she doesn't have to worry about viruses and such. She needs the better one though I think. Hers died - and they replaced it and offered to upgrade it, but she refused. If I had known, I would have talked her into the upgrade. mht is an option to save a web page - instead of html. It saves it as 1 page rather than html which saves the document and the pictures separately. If I send something like THAT she would get confused and upset if she couldn't just open it without doing anything besides just clicking on " open"..She's 80+ years old and can get FRANTIC...so I doubt THAT would work with her. sighhhhh ----- Original Message ----- From: "cris" <cris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2003 9:38 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Incredimail > if you make a piece of statonery - get it ready to send - then save it to your desktop as a .mht > send it to them as an attachment - it should open in their browser for them to see it. I was told originally that I had to put the entire thing in quotation marks - but as I recall, I didn't have to do that. It's been a good while since I've done it. > But - it's a pain. not sure what versions of AOL support this, but I've done it for a couple of years now. > > crisS > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: kg6ocz > To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2003 12:23 PM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Incredimail > > > I can't send anything but plain text to anyone AOL no stationery. graphics > have to be attached.
