Cy, u can do that w/3g-ntfs. However, you're right--linux is not dos & u will need to learn different commands. Having said thus, there are lots of good resources out there, & many of these are free, just need to be googled up. The other thing is, of course, that Linux has a graphical interface, x-windows/Gnome, thus your need to learn the command line will be greatly reduced.
