Kate, (and anyone else interested)

Here is the hopefully functioning link to the "La Misma Luna" discussion Prezi.
 Hope this one works.

Would so love to look at the prezi's but I have clicked on your link for La
Misma Luna and it says "prezi not found" even though I am logged in to my prezi
account. Other links work.Thoughts?

I've used this activity in the past with "Bajo la Misma Luna."

I usually show them the questions first, so they know what to watch for, then
play the clip, then discuss with partner, then possibly as a group.
The main idea underlying this Prezi is that watching 90 minutes of a film is
engaging, but to get the students producing Spanish and meaningful commentary,
I break up the film into smaller chunks that, after viewing, they can partner
up and talk about. It extends the viewing out, but gets them out into a more
active interpretive mode.
I have similar activities with "Nostalgia de la Luz," "Machuca," and "Samsara"
(which has zero dialogue - entirely show, don't tell), if you are interested.

Has anyone shown their Spanish class the films Sin nombre and/or Which Way
Home? I have not yet seen either but they were recommended to me by a student.

Appropriate for 2 & 3 year Spanish?

Do any of you have any activities/worksheets/discussion questions for the
movies that you're willing to share?

Thank you,

Lisa
