Can I just ask - if you have an inside cylindered loco, are the balance
weights on the cranks inside the wheels there to balance out the motion of
the connecting rods; and are the balance weights on the wheels there to
balance out the motion of the connecting rods?
If that is the case, does is matter what the orientation of the outside
weights and cranks are relative to the inside?
