[lit-ideas] Reading Lolita in Tehran

Just wondering if anyone but me is still reading and thinking about 
_Reading Lolita in Tehran_. I would love to have someone explain to me 
in literary or other terms the author's choice of the particular women 
either vividly described or allowed to slip into the background as the 
description of what happened on the first day gets underway.
