I agree. It's about time they stopped practicing. Those doctors! Theynever make house calls. They never write. Plus they have silly in-jokes,like:


Q: What's a double-blind experiment?
A: Two orthopedic surgeons trying to read an EKG.

On the other hand, I know a doctor who added an extra hour to his28-hour hospital call day in order to pray with a dying woman becausenobody could get a priest at 4 a.m.

Some doctors, firefighters, some cops, some teachers ... the rest of usare mostly along for the ride.
