yes Jaws acts just like that,goes on non-stop the black and white theme was solved with lunar,but Jaws still has this way of plodding on regardless. Dorothy is correct. I use Jaws 9 with XP Pro and it is an occasional problem with that, and was with v8 and v7. I never associated it with white print on a black background, but that might be a factor. I usually just press the power button for six seconds and reboot things when it happens as no other key combination will work at all. It is as if Jaws possesses every bit of the machine.
