I'm using my laptop soundcard which has served me well until now that is!
Yes, volume and quality checks done. Old voice profile restored. Following
Brian Hartgen's suggestions JAWS volume minimised.

There is not much you can do except invest in a better microphone. Are you
using a USB soundcard? This is a Dragon 11 bug which does not seem to have
been fixed.
Have you run the volume and quality checks?
