Hi Chris

suspect failed psu .. in which case it'll need returning to me to reflash via JTAG port. It'll also require a new PSU

Background: if the 3v3 rail is out of spec-high- the flash chip will refuse to program as a safety precaution. It will erase though!

One of the powersupply failure modes I have seen is an excessively high 3v3 rail

Reflashed my main Iyonix a few days ago and everything went fine.

... and now the bad news. Attempted to reflash my second Iyonix and
the flashing process failed half way through. The error message
saying it had failed ended with '- panic!' Not a lot of help 8(

Looks like it is dead - on switching on now, the hard drive activity
light comes on and that is it - it just stays on.

I always thought the predictors of doom were exaggerating, but doom
has now struck!
