P.S. Do you have anything Unplugged?
*unplug
Unplugged modules are:
RamFS
WindowUtils

though for some reason, after the initial flashing of 5.18 there were just
WindowUtils and ADFS unplugged. Why ADFS should have been unplugged is
beyond me.

Module are unplugged by number, if the new ROM has modules in a different order, then different modules will end up unplugged afterwards.

When changing ROMs, whether reflashing or softloading, ensure no modules are unplugged when you start.

An even better idea is to do a hold Delete while the machine reboots in to the new ROM to clear all CMOS settings including unplug values, so avoiding any problems due to incorrect interpretation of old contents.

Do a *Status before hand and record the settings, and put them back with *Configure command afterwards.

Cheers
