IMO, specific to practice of medicine, this opens a can of different
worms. The greed that I have seen amongst the "specialist" is vulgar.
Anyway, here we are talking about software. It is always tested
(presumably) before it is deployed reducing the risk factor. In
mission critical situation, it is typically certified by a competent
3rd party.
