No, when I try to attach it in any way it either jumps out of the way. GRIN Or If I do force it to go to a pin, I get DRC errors. This seems like such a simple thing, yet I cannot find a way to do it. Change and Edit do not seem to cover it. It would even be easy to group grab the whole thing and then do a "change," but I do not see any change command to cover this. I can change width, or layer (subclass) but not net. I can change the nets of shapes... but not clines. Is this right? -----Original Message----- From: icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Eric Hufstedler Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2005 11:01 AM To: 'icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Re: How to change an existing cline to a new net??? As a workaround, can you just connect it to a part with the proper net? It might matter where you start (the cline or the part). Either way, it would be good to know if there is a "change" command that would allow such a change. eric -----Original Message----- From: Gene Carman [mailto:gcarman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2005 10:55 AM To: icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [PCB_FORUM] How to change an existing cline to a new net??? I have a trace (cline) that exists in a design that after a logic import (loaded new netlist) the trace reverted to ground. I want to use that existing route. Is there a way to change a particular cline to a new net? The net does exist in the design... I am just trying to avoid ripping up the trace and basically following it again. I intentionally did not rip it up when I imported the new net, just for this reason.
