[PCB_FORUM] Re: How to change an existing cline to a new net? ??

Who was that masked person?

Sounds like that might be quickest way to fix so far... wish I'd thunk it
at the time.

You can also move the route and it's components off-board. It'll then
get dis-associated from the plane and associated with the pins it
connects to.
Then move it back onboard and it should stay associated correctly.

"Extra features" are like extra money... they don't exist. It just
means you haven't found their purpose yet.

I'll have to try that fill idea next time... sometimes it may be worth
it to save a very convuluted route.

Another workaround might be to add a shape around it, set it's net to
what
you want, and then connect the cline to where it goes. Remove extra
shape,
etc.

A lot of work for what seems like a simple feature. But as was pointed
out
a few days ago, there may not be a feature I would consider "extra". :)
