Can't go to the "Desktop" folder, the address bar doesn't have any
sort of auto-completion, and the Nautilus (and Vista, which they
copied from it) navigation bar (the one highlighted in green here:

) is definitely more useful.
In fact, while I'm a fan of the spatial mode, I can use the mixed
spatial/browser mode on Gnome and Windows XP with proficiency, while I
can't on BeOS or Haiku.
