I think there are many users not even knowing you can copy something
with control c, and all that strange shortcuts, particularly on
windows. These will not use alt c either, so there is no problem for
them.
"power-users" knowing the shortcut on other systems will probably find
the control panel or the faq page about that without problems
either... It's not like you have to find something deep inside
regedit.exe to change it.
So, I don't see where is the problem :)
