Appearently every State has an adaptive technology loan program. It's a 4 year loan at 5 per cent. That translates to $23 per month for every 1000 dollars borrowed. In Wisconsin it's called Wisloan and the contract for administrating it is through an organization of Independant living centers. It will cover things like adaptive technology, wheelchair ramps, adapted vans with lifts, etc. Anything to help a person with a disability remain or increase their independence.
