I have to say also as a voicenote owner, that while I have had a few
connection problems, I just go to the opthons menu and follow the steps to
connect the bluetooth if it is off and things work fine. I don't think I
have had it just drop out when it was connected.
However, I do wonder how much HW is going to charge to upgrade to the
Windows CE6.0 and KS 8.0? Probably a bunch! There is much to dislike about
HW's business practices and I never will understand why they built their
Mpower products without the capability for user replaceable batteries,
that's really STUPID!! Jim

I have a voice note and until Humanware gets the Bluetooth operating
correctly, I would have to say that the performance is rather lacking.
What usually happens on my voice note and not on either the pk or Braille
Note, is that the Bluetooth disconnects usually just when you are in the
middle of nowhere. It is never when you are standing in front of the
corner drugstore or restaurant. But I have seaced buying the gps program
for my voice note because of this.
Humanware, incidentally, is well aware that there is a problem andthis is
because they had to build their own bluetooth software in order to
accomodate us. Joseph Lee can get into the technology a lot more than I
can and tell you why technically we have to wait until Windows ce 6 for a
solution to this problem.
But I don't even mess with gps on the v. n. any longer because it is too
exasperating.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Voicenote or Voice Sense
Hello,
Since the Sendero GPS will be available on the Voice Sense in a few
weeks, I'd like to hear from users of both the
Voicenote and the Voice Sense from a GPS prospective.
I don't own either a Voicenote or a Voice Sense, but I'm
interested in comparing the differences or advantages of these two
notetakers when used with GPS.
I believe the Voice Sense has more memory than the Voicenote, and
a different processor, but is the processor faster in the Voice
Sense?
Does the additional memory mean that the Voice Sense would run
faster, or could you have more maps open when compared to the
Voicenote?
If anyone knows of any advantages of using the Voicenote for GPS,
I'd like to hear that too.
Keith
