        Well that is an even more ridiculous suggestion, since their
distances can be measured, and it is a known fact that the stars are at
different distances.

        No it doesn't ACCOUNT for the phenomenon. If the stars did go
round the sun every 24 hours it would produce the change in radial
velocity, but since it is not possible that the stars do this, because
there are no forces which could cause it, and the stars would have to be
travelling faster than light, the theory is a non starter.
