Looking at those links Allen, I have to say Iam pretty convinced myself now of the expanding Earth theory. To me though, this makes my water canopy even more neccessary, otherwise a much smaller Earth, with the same amount of water on it, would surely have been completely covered in water? So, in the year following the flood, the vast weight of the extra water gradually settled in the lower parts of the earth, causing a shift in the crust of the earth, sinking some, the valley plains, and correspondingly raising others, the mountain ranges. Would also explain why so much of the earth is covered in water wasting a lot of space that God might have used for more Human habitation. It might also help explain and expanding earth theory as well if the weight of the extra water split the land masses apart? The difficulty with the water canopy, i would argue is numerous, unessisary and still cannot explain where all the water went after the flood..however the expanding earth theory,
