Not a good thing this early. Bats are a big problem in the San antonio area
because they have that massive cave with them. I have seen 2 here. More
skunks and loose dogs than anything else.
I hope you aren't going with the Fischer and paykel drawer dw.
Those are a maintenence nightmare. A friend had the double and it was
broken more than it worked. They replaced the boards a few times the water
sensors several times both pumps more than once. Basically everything
several times. His son bought a house that had two single ones when we
gutted the kitchen we put both on the curb.
If it is a F&P pay for a full extended warranty.
What color granite? I have to get a drawing made up for my two
guys to give me an accurate bid on ours. Looking at 14$-20$ a square foot
from either of them. Anywhere from $700-$1000 for about 50 sqft. It helps
when you work with these guys on jobsites and get good prices.
If it wasn't for the one inside corner I would do the granite
myself. Everything else is a straight cut and no sink cut out because it's
a farm apron sink.
Have fun with the snow there. I opened the gas valve
yesterday and fired up the furnace with the windows open to burn off the
dust and get the stink out. Course we had one day in October that was over
100*... ugh
