I have done a bit of research. It would appear that registry keys are not being created properly. I think the question is, for those of us having this issue, are we all using Windows 7 or Vista? I for one, am using Win 7.

Hi colleagues,

I don't have this issue but when I opened a Macbeth.brf file the other day at first DBT reported something was too big in the file but did open it. I would be looking at when the .brf file was created, also another element might be security settings within Duxbury itself such as the 'Special Permissions' on the 'Security Tab' of the Properties sheet, but I am no expert at that level. As a moderator on a GNU/Linux forum it would help if people post as much relevant information as needed, in this case with regard to Duxbury, details of the Windows version Duxbury has been installed to, and whether 32-bit or 64-bit. As .brf files are compact it might help if the file is sent to someone at Technical to see if they can replicate the problem.

John.

Subject: [duxuser] DBT11.1 with .BRF files

Hi,

I am having trouble associating .brf files with DBT11.1. I've gone into the set file types dialogue box. I've right-clicked individual files to try to get them to open with DBT, but when I attempt to select it as the default program, my computer refuses to recognize that it even exists and tries to default to something else. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Thanks.
