Glad I am not the only one then. 10.7 worked beautifully here as well. -Alyssa From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lisette Wesseling Sent: Thursday, February 02, 2012 1:47 PM To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxuser] Re: DBT11.1 with .BRF files Hi I too have had this problem for months using Windows Vista and all versions of DBT 11. I select the dbtw.exe file from the Duxbury 11 folder, and when I choose "open" it still asks me what programme I want to use. Before I press enter on "open" dbt.exe is showing as the selected file name. The "All file types" option is selected. Maybe I'm missing a step? It used to work perfectly in 10.7 on the same machine. I wonder if anybody has any ideas Lisette ----- Original Message ----- From: Alyssa To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, February 03, 2012 1:54 AM Subject: [duxuser] DBT11.1 with .BRF files Hi, I am having trouble associating .brf files with DBT11.1. I've gone into the set file types dialogue box. I've right-clicked individual files to try to get them to open with DBT, but when I attempt to select it as the default program, my computer refuses to recognize that it even exists and tries to default to something else. Is there something I can do to fix this? Thanks. -Alyssa __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 6848 (20120201) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com
