I still use cakewalk 9.03 with an old 98 thinkpad laptop for live performances, and work constantly. Admitedly, I've become used to Sonar for throwing together quick midi files in the past year or so. Before that, I did most of my midi work in the old cakewalk. Before that, I briefly used Cakewalk Express. Before that, it was an ancient version of Cubase on the Mac that was half-way accessible with OutSpoken. Now get off my lawn! *smile* Bryan -----Original Message-----From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Todd HoughtonSent: Tuesday, November 10, 2009 2:58 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: exporting to mp3O MAN. I have to admit that I did use pro AUDIO 9 for about ten years and still do on OcaTion.----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Carlson" <dgcarlson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 10, 2009 11:50 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: exporting to mp3Yep. That's how I got it, too. But I'll bet not many of us on this list will admit to being old Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 users. So if you had it thin, they will email it to you free or supply the link to download it. I just recently done it. When I got it I saved it to a CD for future installs or encases of system restores which removes some programs depending upon how far you send your system back. Personally, I'd pay for the unlock code from Cakewalk if you have the spare cash. I paid for my version and it was set up in 2 seconds. I want to export to map files and when I attempt to do that, Hear the encoder needs to be unlocked. What is the best way to go about this procedure? Thanks allot.
