Hi, I upgraded from Cakewalk 9 Which included the encoder. So if you had it thin, they will email it to you free or supply the link to download it. I just recently done it. When I got it I saved it to a CD for future installs or encases of system restores which removes some programs depending upon how far you send your system back. Robert.

You can actually configure any mp3 encoder, but there's a certain degree of tech ability needed to manually enter the settings.
Personally, I'd pay for the unlock code from Cakewalk if you have the spare cash. 

I paid for my version and it was set up in 2 seconds.
