Just contact Cakewalk with your original CWPA9 serial number and request it. 
It was a free upgrade to CWPA9 and I just asked, and received. Now you can 
share the $20 you saved with me, also!

OK.... I am also a recovering Pro Audio 9 user... but what
is this thing of getting the mp3 incoder for free. Is that
correct? If you upgrated from Pro Audio 9, You can get the
MP3 incoder for free?
