Yes. You can download the manual form yamaha's site. Their manual is pretty well written actually, and yes, you can use your motif as a midi controler.

HelloIs it possible to use my yamaha motif through sonar for a midi controller instead of buying another controller? Also, is there any documentation that you know of for the yamaha motif es that explains the functions on the pannels (the names of each pannel function). I'm trying to understand where all of my functions are and what they control exactly; I've had it for only a month or so.Thanks _________________________________________________________________Stay up-to-date with your friends through the Windows Live Spaces friends list. http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwsp0070000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://spaces.live.com/spacesapi.aspx?wx_action=create&wx_url=/friends.aspx&mk** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
