What I love about sonar is that I don't have to go out and spend lots and
lots of money buying affect units and all the hardware to make it work. For
me protools is not really worth the money when I can achieve the same thing
with sonar.

Agreed, Phil. Also, don't forget the headache involved of learning all new
recording software, and the potential money you'd have to spend on possibly
getting some training for it; not to mention the probability that companies
like Freedom Scientific are far better apt to suit the needs of blind
clients than Apple or Microsoft.

Hi all. I know that some of you were commenting that if you purchase a MAC
then, you won't need to spend $1000 on a screen reader like Jaws. However,
keep in mind that when you do purchase that hi end mac that will be required
to run Pro Tools over a PC then, it's probably going to cost you
significanly more than $1000 that you would have paid out for your Windows
screen reader. Just a thought.
Also, looked at voiceover recently and although the speech sounds good, it
was half announcing words when reading E-mail. Annoying to say the least.
