[ddots-l] Delta 1010 and monitoring

Hello!
I just purchased a M-audio Delta 1010. This may be a stupid question...
but how can I hear what I'm recording? When I press Input echo on in
Sonar, I can hear the signal... but when setting input echo
off, nothing comes out. When I used Sound Blaster live I had to just
connect the microphone and signal came out via the card. Any
ideas what is wrong in my system?
