The device manager doesn't say anything about the BookPort.  It does, in fact, 
say something about a TTS MP3 player.  It might be time to call tech support.

Well, you can accomplish the same thing with the tab key.  I still saw no 
check-box to change the drive letter.  (If I sound a bit terse, please don't 
take it to heart; I'm just quite frustrated with this situation.)

It doesn't seem to be so much a problem of Windows recognizing the Bookport 
(although it may be misidentifying it), but rather getting Bookport Transfer 
to see that Bookport is there.  What is *supposed* to be there?  When you 
highlight the Bookport drive with Windows Explorer and/or look at it with 
the device manager, what *should* be there?  Should it say "Bookport?"  When 
I look at Bookport with my device manager, it calls it "SD Inc 
TTSMP3player".
