I am a Book Share volunteer and I know that volunteers, now, are committed to
getting the material into as excellent condition as possible. In the past, the
Book Share material was not well scanned, but, now, things are better in the
organization and we are committed to excellent quality.

The problem is, it isn't what we think that matters. It is what NLS thinks.
My personal belief is, as people who are visually impaired, we should be
able to read any book we can get an accessible copy of, and we should be
able to read it on whatever device that is available. That isn't the stand
NLS takes.
It is hard to complain, though. I've got books almost coming out of my
ears, and that's just the way I like it!!!!
