But one can already replace the batteries in the Book Port. Chargers for AA batteries are also inexpensive, so whenever my Book Port gets low I'll just swap out some fresh ones for the drained pair. While the new ones are in use, I'll recharge the old set and keep them handy when a switch is needed. Because the machine uses Double Talk, the battery life on the device is so good that I haven't yet needed to replace the batteries. I use the BP on a very regular basis, and after two weeks of use I still have 65 percent of my battery life remaining.
