Monica,

If, for some reason, FSEdit doesn't work with the proofreading, I
learned a bit of a trick for keeping my place in Pocket Word Files,
while I still had a PM.  If, when you're finished for a while, you'll
put two or three Xs where you stop, you can then go in, use the find
feature, and find your place.  Naturally, you have to delete the
excess letters, but this isn't a big deal.
