I have occasionally grinned and asked if we can photograph it for money. I have also suggested to rehab agencies that we create a book

"This is a blind person making a sandwich."
"This is a blind person walking up stairs?" (what is it with sighted folks and stairs anyhow? for a wheelchair user I can understand but stairs are easy. It is some of the other stuff wich is hard.)

This is a blind person putting on running shoes. (Do folks believe we live with folks who follow us around and do tasks for us like help us dress?)

all of this is said humorously but truly I have been asked some strange things and I do think such interactions might make a fine book. At least I know now because of the internet that others also experience this stuff. I went for years just amazed and a bit exhausted and alone from it all prior to the net.
