I thought I remembered seeing in the manual that if the copyright holder is not
clear to use the publisher.
Also remember that all written work is copyrighted even if a copyright thing
is not submitted to the government. Every time you write an email, even that
content is copyrighted by you.
So the book is copyrighted no matter what--it's just a matter of determining
the holder and the year.
