-Yes, but the validater can put in the page numbers. Even if the validator can't see the page numbers from having the actual book at hand, a look at the last line of one page and the first line of the next will tell if all the pages are there. Doing a page number check after spell-check or proof-reading will enable the validater to put in the page numbers in sequence. I've found when I do that after completing my validation process, that sometimes I've put in the same page number twice, or forgot to put one in, and have been able to correct it easily.
