When you find an appraiser, please let me know. I have duck decoys that were
hunted over by my grandfather and his sons over 100 yrs ago. They were on
display at the Filson Club a few yrs back. They are not fancy, very weathered,
and I would like an official estimate--not the value that Filson Club put on
them. I had 4, now just 2, having given one each to my sons. ..Thanks..

Does anyone know of anyone that collects antique, handcarved duck decoys??
I have 5 or 6 sets of them and a lifesize set of Canada geese.
These are gorgeous.. they look real..he was very talented.. he used to tie
flies for flyfishing also..
These were handcarved in the 1930's by my dad's father in law. He was a well
known attorney in Tulsa and also in Canada, when he was the vice pres. of
Sinclair oil.
