Was rewarded while trying to squeeze my walk in between showers with the first
bunch of waxwings right here above my driveway
that I've had in a couple months. Also, a couple of winter wrens, along with
the usual suspects.
As an aside, was hiking at Nolin State Park New Year's Day when I came
across the largest bunch of juncos in my life.
A few other sparrows, etc. along, but far as I could tell, pretty homogenously
juncos.
