Yup, same here, in both Windows 2010 and Mac 2011. Even stranger is that I seem to lose the ability to Undo adding that letter on the Mac. One thing though, to get it to work, I have to hide the para mark before AND after the middle line. rwl From: austechwriter-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:austechwriter-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Nick Shears Sent: Monday, 27 August 2012 11:24 AM To: austechwriter@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: atw: Re: MSWord feature As Ken said, but with the new (unhidden) text at the beginning of line 2 instead of line 3! Type three separate lines of text separated by paragraph marks. Make the middle line (including the para mark) hidden font. If not already, make the hidden text not visible. The entire row should disappear. Line 3 becomes line 2. Put the cursor at the beginning of the new line 2 and type a letter.
