apropos:
I once saw how they manufactured trumpets and similarly
thinwalled but not rotation symmetric items.
( form a rotation symmetric body from sheet metal
fill it with molten tin/lead,
bent it into the shape you need and then remove
the core via heating/melting.
)
could this in a way be applied to explosively or roller formed
items that need cooling channels?
