*Way* too high - are you absolutely sure you compared the right .ti3 with the profile?
Typically you'd expect to see a max error of below 10dE and if you're lucky, round about 2 or 3, and the average should be under 3, hopefully nearer 1.
If you did compare the correct .ti3 file and profile, then chances are you had some (many!) bad readings on the chart, so try reading it again and keep an eye out for any error messages or warnings.
