Linux == SlackWare v12.2 running the 2.6.27.7-spm kernel

Startup temps booted to Linux....

CPU Temp: +98.6°F (low = +32.0°F, high = +260.6°F) M/B Temp: +86.0°F (low = +32.0°F, high = +260.6°F)
What is the significance of those extreme low and high temperatures? Do they arise during the test cycle or are they perhaps the range limit of the temp testing hardware?
