Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club! Arachne v190j1 OS: FreeDOS RAM: 1.5 GB Free conventional memory when Arachne is running: 596 KB I have noticed that Alt+E/Exit feature works only if you remain on the same drive where Arachne is installed. I have Arachne installed in D:\Arc, here is what happens: - from Arachne hit Alt+E which takes you to DOS - go to any folder/subfolder on drive D - type Exit from any DOS prompt to go back to Arachne Everything works fine as long as I stay within drive D. If I go to drive C and then type Exit I get the following error: bad command or filename - "d:\arc\" CHDIR faled for '..' bad command or filename - "arachne" Is this normal behaviour? I have just upgraded ram to 1.5 GB and have run into some problems with FreeDos (all fixed now). Installation path D:\ARC might be an issue too. I don't think going to drive C caused any trouble before memory upgrade. Below are memory stats.
