[access-uk] Re: xp network problem

Hi Andrew,
The mobo is an intel d875pbz.
There does not seem to be an active network device in device manager.
There is one reference to a connection which it calls 1934 but there is no
information displayed on this connection.
If I look in device manager on my win 2k drive which works correctly, the
intel network drivers are mentioned.
I am wondering whether to start again with the xp installation, if I do this,
do I let xp find a driver and not install the intel stuff or go ahead and
install the intel drivers?
Also, one other point, the first time I opened internet explorer, I was
asked to set up the connection. I presume I select the always on with no
password required?
I am connecting to plusnet via the vigor 2600.
I was a bit confused with this as there were two similar choices?
